We must be on a cake-themed month as here we are talking about Wedding Cake again. When I saw this, I just had to make sure that we mentioned it in case you all haven't seen this yet. This last weekend, the founder/CEO of GoDaddy.com, Bob Parsons had the most incredible groom's cake we've ever seen !!

It was made by Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, you know the ones on the Food Network..

Well, the cake is a life-sized, giant, edible Ducati motorcycle that had an ignition key-start, horns, lights, moving wheels and exhaust pipes!!! There was even a helmet cake. As a thank you, Duff received a REAL Ducati motorcycle...how's that for a bonus!

Article on KPHO.com has scrolling images of the wedding event. I must say, the guys and gals at Charm City Cakes, you have out-done yourself! You're creations keep getting more realistic and amazing!

I couldn't believe it until I saw it...I read this on CakeWrecks and then went to read the blog the Mother of the Bride posted. I was horrified and felt terrible for these two. What was supposed to be a "surprise" secret "ninja" star turned out to be something far from that….

I would advise if any of you are using Irit Ishai of the Sugar, Butter, Flour Bakery in the San Jose/ Sunnyvale, CA area to make your Wedding Cake with “special” instructions, give her a call and go over the “minute” details one more time before your big day. You might just be glad you did.

In Asan, South Korea, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon will be performing his last mass wedding for more than 40,000 couples!...and that's just the Wedding Party! Can you imagine having to be the Wedding Planner for that event???

It was over half a century ago when the Rev. Moon performed his first mass wedding in 1960. All people, whether previously married or single, can receive the blessing of God upon their marriages through Reverend and Mrs. Moon standing as the True Parents. The number of couples who have received this blessing has grown, from 36 in 1960, to 8,000 in 1982, to 30,000 in 1992, and most recently, to 360,000 in 1995.

The Unification Church says Reverend Moon will wed or reaffirm the marriages of more than 40,000 people tomorrow, October 14, 2009, at Sun Moon University in Asan which is south of Seoul, South Korea. The event will be broadcast live at similar events worldwide and many across the U.S, mainly by satellite hook-up and link....why didn't they use LiveWeddingBroadcast.TV??

The mass weddings are his last as Rev. Moon will hand over the day-to-day leadership to three of his 11 children. The three sons insist their father health is good. Church officials say the massive worldwide ceremony is meant to mark two key anniversaries in the leader's life: his 90th birthday and his 50th wedding anniversary.

Rev. Moon says the blessing ceremonies, pairing followers from different backgrounds, are part of his vision of building a multicultural religious world. In recent years, the weddings have been smaller in scale. Still, church officials said this time followers in nearly every U.S. state would take part.

Well folks, it's finally here! One of the most anticipated events on national television...the time when Pam Beesly and Jim Halpert will finally say, "I DO!". I just wanted to remind you that the episode is this Thursday, October 8, 2009, on NBC at 9PM EST/8PM CST. One great thing to check out is their wedding website at Pam & Jim's Wedding Website. They have guest info, location, registry, guest book and even a video blog. Now only if we could have gotten them to do a live broadcast to their relatives who couldn't attend...oh yeah..it's on national TV. Seriously, check it out for a break from your own wedding plans in true "Office" Style.

Today I’m breaking out of the normal ‘professional’ mode and using our blog for what blogs were originally intended for, personal opinion.

I can’t believe that in this day and age, we still have so many so called wedding know-it-all's who are telling today’s Modern Bride & Groom to cut back on their guest list to save money.

Yet once again, TheKnot.com has published their “10 Ways to Save Big on Your Wedding”.

2. Cut the Guest List We know it's tough, but one of the fastest and most effective ways to lower your wedding cost is to pare down the invitees. Get out that red pen! At $100 a head, taking 10 guests off the guest list saves $1,000! Also consider the size of your wedding party: Gifts, hair, and makeup are cheaper for two than for ten.

Knot Note: Having trouble figuring out which guests to cut? Make a rule and whittle away. Rule #1: If you have never spoken to, met, or heard the name of a particular guest, they get cut. Rule #2: Anyone whose bedtime occurs before 9 p.m. will miss the cake cutting anyway, and probably won't have the best time. (All under-12 year-olds get a no) Rule #3: Significant others? Consider someone worthy of an invite if he or she is currently living with or has been in a relationship for more than one year with the friend you want to invite.

This article was just appalling. Do these people NOT take anytime whatsoever learning about NEW and innovative ways to do Weddings? Are they just so stuck in the past with Old School ways that they are so out of touch with today’s technological advancements that they just don’t know or just don’t care?

Whether you use our service offering or one of the half dozen competitors for the wedding broadcast in today’s world you don’t have to cut back on your guest list at all. In fact, you can even expand on your guest list and even invite those that maybe you hadn’t thought of inviting and now end up with more wedding gifts for doing so. Use one of the live wedding broadcast services online today and use the money that you were going to spend on a hundred guests to show 30 or so a kicking good time!

Or how about using any ONE of the live wedding broadcast services out there to save money and put that aside for a honey moon or just invite 10 or 15 of your closest friends and family members to an exotic destination location and then invite 200 or more online. Do the so called leaders in the wedding industry even bother to keep up with these things?

We let TheKnot.com and the WeddingChannel.com and just about every wedding organization online offering new information for brides and grooms know about us and what we do.

Yet they all seem to still embrace the old school mentality that you should tell some of your closest friends and family members…”ehhh…we can’t afford to feed you so you’re not invited.”

With our offering or anyone of our competitors such as Idostream.com, you do have other options besides telling your friends and family they can’t come. We rolled the all new Broadcaster Control Panel v2 for the my.liveweddingbroadcast.tv a few days ago and announced it to the US market today!

Now we have the Global Locate A Pro section which allows the Professional Wedding Videographer to display their logo, URL, studio name and location and description free!
Really cool stuff!
As part of the new Broadcaster Control Panel, the pro can upload up to 9 video trailers to showcase their wedding business in their profile display for even more showcases!

Weekend Live Wedding Bliss!

We had such a great weekend!

We were able to personally participate in a live wedding broadcast on Saturday! It was a great venue location, a very cute little wedding chapel in Central Florida (see picture below) and conducted by one of our favorite videographers, Steve Graham of Orlando Wedding Video.

A great part of the cermony was that the Pastor was just amazed that the wedding was being broadcast LIVE over the world-wide internet and welcomed all the online guests personally to the wedding. We also had some really great messages left by the online guests to the Bride & Groom stating that they were so thrilled that the Bride & Groom had included them on their special day! These comments always make us proud of what we do..allowing those loved ones who really want to be there but can't because of unchangeable circumstances, the ability to "BE" there over the internet! It touches my heart so much everytime !!!!!

The Bride chose Dark Purple and Black for her wedding colors and she even changed her live broadcast screen to Lavender to match the wedding color scheme. Here's a big pic of the ceremony:

Tonight was such a treat as we were asked to speak on "Making Your Event Special Live" hosted by Wedding Planner Shafonne Myers of Making Your Event Special located in Richmond, Virginia.

We were discussing the impact of the price of gasoline on your wedding planning. We shared with Shafonne and the listeners how our service really helps both the Bride and Groom and the Wedding Guest. The Wedding Guest who can't afford to attend, doesn't have to feel guilty in that they will "be" at the wedding, just over the internet. The Bride and Groom by default have a savings in that they don't have to pay for the usual costs for the wedding guest: the reception dinner, departing gifts or bar costs for those guest that "watch it live".

Welcome to our first posting!
Let me tell you a little bit about our service and what we are going to be doing on this blog. We are LiveWeddingBroadcast.TV.

We are a LIVE broadcasting service that allows those family or friends who can't attend the wedding to be able to see it LIVE via the internet. You may have heard of this idea before as there are a few other sites doing "webcasting"; BUT none are like our broadcasting service.

We are the first fully automated, web-based live broadcasting service for weddings! This is the perfect solution for the bride and groom who are receiving those "not able to attend" responses to their wedding invitations and for destination weddings.

According to Condé Nast Bridal Group, guest lists for destination weddings are one-third the size of a normal weddding guest list. Our service can change that trend by allowing those guests that cannot travel to the wedding destination, the ability to view the wedding over the internet!!!
